Full-time mode: The course runs twice a year in full-time mode. The course is broken into these components for full-time students:

- 4 week placement in a real law office
Part-time (in-practice) mode: We offer three entry points for part-time students each year (January, March and June). Our part-time courses run over QUT 6TP teaching periods. Our part-time (in-practice) option is available for people who are employed in approved private or government law offices. Students in the in-practice mode receive credit for the learning and experience that they receive in their real life workplaces. The in-practice course is delivered on-line except for an 8 day attendance school.
Part-time (general) mode: This part-time option is for people who do not qualify for the part-time (in-practice) mode. The general course has three entry points a year and is delivered on-line except for an 8 day attendance school and a 4 week work placement.
